1. Platform and Integration
– Main Operating System:
– Android: EffiChron is developed based on the Android platform, with deep customizations to the OS kernel to enforce the restriction of social media use and unnecessary applications.
– iOS: For the iOS platform, EffiChron will utilize Apple’s available time management and app restriction APIs. Coupled with integration into MDM (Mobile Device Management), EffiChron will have the capability to lock applications outside of permitted hours.
– Memory Capacity: Optimized to ensure the system does not exceed 250MB of memory usage, ensuring that device performance is not affected.
2. User Interface (UI/UX)
– Minimalist and user-friendly design: EffiChron adopts a Material Design interface for Android and a Flat Design for iOS to ensure an intuitive and distraction-free experience.
– Central Control Panel: Integrated control panel that displays app usage time, alerts when approaching time limits, and provides detailed reports on the user’s social media usage habits.
– Flexible alert features: Notifications appear when the user is about to exceed their social media usage limit, providing suggestions for behavioral adjustments.
3. Social Media and Unnecessary Application Control
– Social media app usage time limits: Users cannot alter the set time limits, and once the usage time exceeds the set threshold, social media apps will be automatically locked until the allowed time is restored.
– Forced app locking: EffiChron will automatically lock all social media and entertainment apps during designated work or study hours. The system cannot be removed or modified without admin privileges.
4. Integration with Business and Income Management Systems
– Income deduction based on wasted time: EffiChron integrates with HR systems to automatically deduct wages when employees exceed social media usage during working hours. The amount deducted is calculated based on the level of violation and can be directed to a company fund or charity.
– Productivity reduction alerts: Businesses can track employee performance reports based on time violations and reduced work productivity. This report is displayed in the management control panel.
5. Social Media Platform Integration
– API integration with social media platforms: EffiChron will integrate APIs with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to automatically limit posting, liking, and viewing rights when users exceed their time limits.
– Temporary removal of friends or followers: If users violate time limits, EffiChron will automatically delete or temporarily hide friends and followers, restoring them once the user complies with the set limits.
– Post and interaction blocking: If time limits are exceeded, the system will block the ability to post or comment on social media platforms for a set period.
6. Health and Psychological Consequence Simulation
– Health crisis simulation: EffiChron uses simulation technology to display the health consequences of overuse of social media, such as weight gain, insomnia, and mental decline. These simulations will appear as visual representations of the user’s deteriorating health.
– Psychological crisis alerts: If the user continues to violate the time limits, the system will simulate a psychological crisis, creating notifications that describe feelings of being lost and disconnected from reality, accompanied by specific recommendations such as disconnecting and taking a break.
7. Security and Privacy Features
– Encrypted data and privacy protection: All data related to user behavior is encrypted. There is no access to personal data without the user’s consent or admin privileges.
– Strong forced locking: EffiChron cannot be disabled, uninstalled, or have any settings changed without admin authorization or MDM system permissions.
